Green Pea Hummus | Dips Sauces and More | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Thick creamy hummus made with fresh green peas. It goes perfect with pita bread.

GREEN PEA HUMMUS

Ingredients

1½ cups green peas, blanched
¼ cup tahini paste
4-5 garlic cloves
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup olive oil + for drizzling
½ teaspoon paprika powder for sprinkling
2-3 black olives, pitted and sliced for garnishing
Pita bread for serving

Method

1. Combine green peas, tahini paste, garlic cloves, salt, lemon juice and olive oil with little water in a blender jar. Blend well into a smooth paste.
2. Transfer paste into a serving dish. Drizzle olive oil on top, sprinkle paprika powder and garnish with olives.
3. Serve as a dip with pita bread.
