Green Peas and Drumstick Puli | Vahchef - VahRehVah

reen peas and drumstick puli is a south Indian recipe and great side dish for rice.

Ingredients:
Drumsticks 4 Numbers
Green peas 1/4 Cup
Mustard seeds 1/4 Teaspoons
Cumin seeds 1/4 Teaspoons
Oil 3 Tablespoons
Dry red chilli 3 Numbers
Methi seeds (fenugreek seeds) 1/4 Teaspoons
Onions (slices) 2 Numbers
Salt To taste
Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoons
Curry leaves 2 Springs
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoons
Green chilli 2 Numbers
Coriander powder 1/2 Bunch
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoons
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoons
Tamarind juice 1/4 Cup
Jaggery (small) 1 Small
Coriander (chopped) 1/2 Bunch

Directions:
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds when they are splutter add dry red chilli, cumin seeds, methi seeds, sliced onions, salt, turmeric saute it

Add curry leaves, ginger garlic paste cook it for 2 minutes then add green chilli, drumsticks and add some water, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder mix it and cook for 5 minutes.

Once the drumsticks are cooked add tamarind juice, jaggery, green peas and add salt to taste put the lid on and let it cook for 4 minutes.

Finally add chopped coriander. Serve with rice.
