Flavoured with mint and coriander leaves, this rawa dosa is unique and delicious in its own way!
GREEN RAWA DOSA

Ingredients

4-5 garlic cloves
2-3 green chillies
½ tbsp lemon juice
½ cup coriander leaves
½ cup mint leaves
Salt to taste
½ cup semolina
¾ cup rice flour
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsps oil + for cooking
½ tsp mustard seeds
6-8 curry leaves
2-3 green chillies, roughly chopped
5-6 garlic cloves
2 dried red chillies, broken
2 medium tomatoes, quartered
½ cup scraped coconut
½ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder


Method

1. Transfer garlic cloves, green chillies and lemon juice in a blender jar. Add coriander leaves, mint leaves.
2. Add ¼ cup water, salt and grind to fine paste.
3. Take semolina, rice flour in a bowl. Add the prepared paste, 1½ cups cup water, cumin seeds and mix well. Set aside for 10 minutes.
4. For chutney, heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add curry leaves, green chilles, garlic, dried red chillies and sauté for a minute.
5. Add tomatoes and mix well. Add salt and cook on medium heat for 6-8 minutes or till the tomatoes are pulpy. Allow the mixture to cool down.
6. Transfer in a blender jar, add coconut and grind to a fine paste.
7. Add salt, Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder and 2 cups water to semolina mixture and mix well.
8. Heat a nonstick tawa and drizzle prepared batter evenly.
9. Drizzle oil and cook till underside is crisp.
10. Serve hot with prepared chutney.
