GREEN TOMATO SUBZIIngredients5 medium green tomatoes, roughly chopped3 tbsps oil½ tsp ginger paste½ tsp garlic pasteSalt to taste½ tsp turmeric powder1 tsp red chilli powder1 tsp coriander powder½ tsp garam masala powder½ tsp cumin seeds2 dried red chilliesMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai.2. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder in a bowl. Add sufficient water and mix well.3. Add cumin seeds in kadai and sauté till it turn brown. Add dried red chillies and sauté for few seconds. Add the prepared mixture and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.4. Add green tomatoes, combine well. Add sufficient water and mix well. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes till tomatoes turn pulpy.5. Transfer prepared subzi in a serving bowl.6. Serve hot.
