A delicious delicacy from the land of Gujarat.GUJARATI KADHIIngredients1½ cups yogurt1 tbsp gram flour1 tsp ginger green chilli pasteSalt to taste1 tbsp ghee½ tsp mustard seeds½ tsp cumin seeds¼ tsp asafoetida3 cloves 1 inch cinnamon stick5 curry leaves4 small dry red chillies1 tsp sugar1 tbsp chopped fresh corianderMethod1. Add yogurt, gram flour, ginger -green chilli paste and salt. Mix well with a whisk and add 3 ½ cups water. Beat the mixture with a whisk.2. Heat ghee in a non-stick deep pan, add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add cumin seeds and sauté for a minute. Add asafoetida, cloves, cinnamon, curry leaves and dry red chillies. Sauté for a minute on medium heat. 3. Add the yogurt mixture and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 cup water, sugar and coriander. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.4.
