One of the popular snack items made in the streets of East India. This version of the recipe is healthy. Do try !DIMER CHOPIngredients4-8 eggs (dim), hardboiled 4 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed1 tablespoon oil ½ teaspoon mustard seeds1-2 green chillies, finely chopped1 medium onion, finely chopped1 teaspoon red chilli powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder½ teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder½ teaspoon coriander powder1 teaspoon coriander powderSalt to taste1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander leaves 3 eggs, beatenDried breadcrumbs for coating Method1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. 2. Add green chillies and onion, mix and sauté till onions turn translucent. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and coriander powder, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. 3. Add some water and mix. Add potatoes and mix well. Add salt, mix and cook for a minute. 4. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. 5. Add egg white, salt, and little water in a bowl, mix well and set aside6. Pre-heat air-fryer at 180c or for 5-10 minutes.7. Divide the potato mixture into equal portions, wrap around an egg white and shape into roundels or chops. Dip in beaten eggs and coat in breadcrumbs.8. Place chops in a pre-heat air-fryer and bake for 10-12 minute or still golden brown and 9. Halve and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
