Healthy Uttappam | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This highly popular breakfast dish is now even healthier, without losing a bit of its yummy taste.

Healthy Uttappam

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats, roasted and powdered
1 cup dosa batter
½ cup mixed sprouts
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
Oil for greasing

Method

1. Take oats in a bowl. Add dosa batter and salt. Add water to adjust consistency and mix well. Keep aside
2. In another bowl take the sprouts, onions, tomatoes, green chillies and salt. Mix well set aside.
3. Grease a non-stick pan with some oil. Pour a ladleful of the uttapam batter and spread it thickly.
4. Sprinkle the sprout mixture over it and let the uttappam cook evenly from both the sides.
5. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
