HOME STYLE FISH FRYIngredients4 large king fish darnes1 medium onion, roughly chopped8-10 garlic cloves, roughly chopped1 inch ginger, roughly chopped10-12 curry leaves + for sprinkling2 -3 green chillies + for sprinkling1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder2 tsps vinegar2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander½ tsp + a pinch of Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder1 tsp red chilli powderSalt to taste3 tbsps coconut oil1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leavesRice ghavne to serveMethod1. Put onion in a blender jar, add garlic, ginger, curry leaves, green chillies, Kashmiri red chilli powder , vinegar, coriander, Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, red chilli powder, salt and ¼ cup water and blend to a fine paste.2. Take fish darnes in a bowl, add salt and remaining Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder and mix well. Apply the blended paste over fish pieces.3. Heat a cast iron pan. Drizzle coconut oil and let it heat up.4. Place the fish pieces and cook on medium heat till underside is done. Gently flip each fish piece, sprinkle some green chillies and curry leaves. Continue cooking till the other side is also done.5. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot with rice ghavne.
