HONEY CHILLI POTATOES

Ingredients

½ tsp honey
½ tsp dried red chilli flakes
½ tsp Tata Sampann Chilli Powder
½ tsp red chilli sauce
200 grams frozen potato wedges
2 tsps oil + for deep frying
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
½ tsp finely chopped ginger
2-3 spring onion bulbs, finely chopped
2 tbsps chopped spring onion greens + for garnish
2 tsps chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish

Method

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry the potato wedges till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
2. Cut the bigger pieces of the potato wedges in half.
3. Heat 2 tsps oil in a wok, add garlic, ginger, spring onion bulbs and sauté for a minute.
4. Add the fried potato wedges and toss well.
5. Add dried red chilli flakes and Tata Sampann Chilli Powder and mix well.
6. Add red chilli sauce and mix well. Add spring onion greens, chopped coriander, honey and salt and toss till well combined.
7. Transfer the prepared mixture on a serving plate, garnish with spring onion greens and chopped coriander and serve hot.
