Use a splash-guard. Beat or mix or Whisk.From cream you ll get whipped cream , then from whipped cream youll get a grainy stuff , and then finally butter and buttermilk.Set the buttermilk aside, and now rinse the butter by beating it with ice cold water. It will wash away the remaining milk in it, hence make that butter last longer. Stir it thoroughly and Squeeze out the excess of water.
