How to Make Easy Apple Pancakes The Stay At Home Chef

Apple Pancakes are a great way to sneak some healthy fruit into your breakfast routine. These easy pancakes are light, fluffy, and totally easy to make!

Ingredients

1 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk or buttermilk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup shredded granny smith apple


Instructions

00:00:12 - Peel and shred apples

1 00:00:22 - In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2 00:00:46 - Whisk in milk, eggs, and applesauce just until combined. Stir in shredded apple.

3 00:01:14 - Preheat a flat griddle over medium-high heat.

4 00:01:19 - Scoop 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto griddle. Let pancakes cook until bubbles form before flipping.

5 Cook other side until golden brown. Serve hot with syrup.
