How To Prepare Steamed Tilapia

PREP TIME: 40 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 15 MINUTES
SERVES: 2

INGREDIENTS
1 large fresh tilapia , halved.
cup petite bell pepper ( kpakposhito)
1 medium onion, chopped.
cup fresh parsley
6 cloves of garlic
1 small ginger
1 tsp black peppercorn
1 tsp anise seeds
Olive oil, for greasing.
1 tbsp salt

DIRECTION
Pour petite belle pepper into a blender, add onion, fresh parsley, garlic, ginger, black peppercorn, anise seeds and blend into a smooth mixture.
Pour on the tilapia, add salt and gently rub to coat evenly.
Cover with cling film and let set to marinate for 30 minutes or more.
Bring about 1 litre of water to a boil in a sauce pan over medium heat, place a splatter guard on then grease with olive oil.
Place the marinated tilapia and cover to cook for 5 minutes on both sides.
Steamed tilapia ready. Serve with banku, chilli sauce and sauted vegetables.
