Ingredients:
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp of urad (split back gram) dal
A pinch of tumeric powder
1 spoon of corainder (dhaniya) powder
Curry leaves
1/2 tsp of finely chopped ginger
1/2 tsp of finely chopped green chillies
Dried red chillies
Brown channa (brown chick peas) boiled in water with a pinch of salt
Water of the boiled channa
1/2 tsp of asafoetida (hing) dissolved in water
1/3 cup of freshly grated coconut
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves to garnish
Oil
