Ingredients:
2 cups of sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 cup of milk
3/4 cup of vegetable oil
2 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease two 9 inch round cake pans.

In a large mixing bowl, with an electric mixer beat sugar and eggs until slightly thickened. about 1 minute. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend untill all combined and smooth, do not overbeat.

Pour batter into pans and bake at for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. turn out onto wire rack to cool
