Masala ParathaA delightful breakfast recipe, Masala Paratha is a filling paratha made with wheat flour, onions, amchoor powder and chilli powder. (Large)Pomegranate seeds (Anardana) 1 tbsp Wheat flour 1½ cupGram flour (Besan) ¼ cupGinger chopped 1 tspGreen chilli chopped 3 no.Coriander chopped 2 tbspCarom seeds (Ajwain) 1 tspDry Mango (Amchur) Powder 1 tsp Ghee as requiredSalt to tasteWater as requiredRed chilli powder for sprinkleChaat masala for sprinkleMethod:1. Heat the pan and roast the pomegranate seeds for 1 min. or until dry. Add to the blender and grind it fine powder. Keep it aside.2. Take a mixing bowl; add wheat flour, gram flour, chopped onion, ginger, coriander, green chillies, carom seeds, dry mango powder, salt and prepared pomegranate powder, mix well.3. Add water as required and knead the soft dough.4. Put some wheat flour on work place, take portion of dough roll it in wheat flour and gently roll into a round shape. 5. Apply 1 tsp of ghee all over the paratha; sprinkle some red chilli powder, chaat masala, gram flour.6. Fold the paratha from both sides, they will overlap a little.7. Fold vertically one side, and fold again, it will be square shape.8. Dust it with dry flour and roll it in square shape.9. Heat a tava on medium heat and place the paratha on it and cook on both the sides.10. Apply ghee on both the sides and cook flipping sides till evenly golden.11. Remove in a plate, add some ghee on top of the paratha, sprinkle some red chilli powder, chaat masala and crush the paratha.12.
