Do not add any water while grinding. Otherwise, the vadas will absorb lot of Oil. If you need to add water you can add but be very careful. The paste should be a bit coarse. It okay even if whole grains still remain.Add the chopped onions and add them to the paste.Now add the chopped curry leaves and salt and mix well. Take a lemon sized mixture and flatten it on your palm.
