How To Make One Pot Pasta And Sausage. Welcome Friends! Welcome to axe night suppers and tonight I'm cooking a sausage and pasta one pan recipe.

Ingredients:
15 mL (1 Tbsp) olive oil
500g (1 pound) Italian sausage, sliced
1 medium onion, diced
2-3 cloves fresh minced garlic
1 pepper, diced (sweet or hot)
500 mL (2 cups) chicken broth
295 mL (1 10-ounce) can diced tomatoes
75 mL (¼ cup) milk or cream
225g (8 ounces) dry pasta
250 mL (1 cup) frozen peas
250 mL (1 cup) frozen brocoli florets
Salt and pepper to taste
250 mL (1 cup)  shredded Wisconsin Brick cheese (optional)

Method:
Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat.
Add sausage and fry it off until browning.
Add onion, pepper, and garlic; continue to sauce until onions are translucent.
Add tomatoes, pasta, chicken broth, milk, salt and pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low.
Simmer for about 15 minutes, or until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Add frozen peas, and frozen broccoli florets; recover and cook 2-3 minutes more.
Turn off the heat and stir in up to 1 cup of shredded cheese; if desired.

Feel free to switch this around with different proteins, and vegetables.
