How to make Yakisoba (Ep.3 / 100 Quick & Easy Bento / Lunch Box Ideas) | Basic Tokyo

Today’s episode is “Yakisoba”. This is a derivative of chow mien, but it has a differnent flavor.

==Ingredients (2 servings)==
Yakisoba Noodle 2 packs
(all preferred amount)
cabbage
green pepper
pork
sprouts
sesame oil
(optional)
nori flakes
red pickled ginger
The most important of all the ingredients will be the Yakisoba Noodles. You would probably be able to get these at your nearest japanese food market. Make sure you buy the ones with the sauce included to go with this video.

==Directions==
1.Cut cabbage, green pepper, and pork in easy-to-eat sizes.
2.Use sesame oil to sauté the pork on medium heat, and take it off the pan and put it aside.
3.Stir-fry the vegetables. If you don’t like your vegetables to be too soft, keep this step short.
4.Add the noodles to the pan with 120ml of water. Loosen the noodles and stir-fry until there is almost no liquid on the pan.
5.Add back the pork to the pan, turn the heat down to low, add the powder sauce that comes with the yakisoba noodles, and mix together until the sauce is even.
6.Pack the noodles in your bento box. add an appropriate amount of red pickled ginger, and sprinkle some nori flakes on the noodle, and its done!
