Arguably the most famous Lebanese dip, Hummus has a unique flavor of chickpea, olive oil and Tahini. The addition of lemon and garlic only add to the fantastic taste.HUMMUS Ingredients1 cup boiled chickpeas 2-3 garlic cloves1 tablespoon lemon juice¼ cup tahini pasteSalt to taste½ cup chickpea stockOlive oil for drizzling Paprika powder for garnishing2-3 black olives, pitted and sliced for garnishingLavash for servingTahini1 cup sesame seeds7-8 garlic cloves½ cup olive oilMethod1. To make Tahini paste, combine sesame seeds, garlic cloves and olive oil in a grinder jar and grind well. Add little water and grind again to smooth paste. Set aside. 2. To make hummus, combine chickpeas, garlic cloves, lemon juice, tahini paste, salt and chickpea stock in a blender jar. Blend well into a smooth paste.3. Transfer paste to a serving dish.
