A simple dip which you can have for any occasion or even as a simple evening snack with some pita bread. Watch this video recipe in Kutchi language.HUMMUSIngredients1 cup boiled chickpeas chole1/4 cup white sesame seeds1½ tbsps garlic paste1 tbsp lemon juiceSalt to taste3 tbsps olive oil + for dipping1 pita bread for serving1 tbsp butterParsley sprig for garnishMethod1. Heat a deep non-stick pan, add white sesame seeds and roast on medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.2. In a blender add, boiled chickpeas, garlic paste, lemon juice and salt. Grind to a fine medium thick paste. Add water if mixture becomes too thick. Remove in a bowl.3. In a blender add roasted sesame seeds and add 2 tbsps olive oil and grind to a fine paste. Add water if mixture becomes thick. Add 2 tbsps prepared tahini paste in chickpeas paste. Mix well. Add little water if hummus mixture becomes thick.4. Heat a non-stick tawa, add pita bread, heat it and apply 1 tbsp butter on both sides and cook on medium heat till golden brown on both sides.5. Transfer hummus in a serving bowl. Pour remaining olive oil over hummus and combine well. Dip a fork in olive oil and dip its tip in red paprika powder and make lines on hummus. 6. Serve immediately, garnished with a parsley sprig.
