I was recently invited to check out the opening ceremony of the 2022 Iksan World Heritage Media Art Festa. I met up with Hugh from @MKH and Lea from @Jeolla Go and saw a variety of events including a show with over 300 drones, and amazing light show, and an unbelievable Tae Kwon Do show. But before that, I took a little trip around the city using the Iksan City Bus Tour. My first stop was at a place called Goseurak - which features over 4000 traditional Korean earthenware pots. It was also a filming location for the Lee Minho drama called 'The King: Eternal Monarch'. Next I went to Iksan Prison Set. This place was originally built as a setting for the 2005 movie 'The Holiday'. Since then, it's been featured in hundreds of K-dramas, variety shows, movies and music videos. Next I checked out a Korean national treasure at Wanggung-ri Ruins. I ended the evening at Mireuksaji to enjoy the opening ceremony of the 2022 Iksan World Heritage Media Art Festa.
