The Mexican nachos get a desi twist. INDIAN NACHOSIngredients1 cup maize flour (makai ka atta)1 cup refined flour (maida)½ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste1 tbsp Tata Sampann Dal MasalaOil for drizzling + for deep fryingSour cream to serveMethod1. In a bowl, add maize flour and refined flour. Add turmeric powder, salt, Tata Sampann Dal Masala and mix well.2. Make a well in the centre and add sufficient water, knead to semi-soft dough.3. Drizzle a little oil on the worktop, take a portion of the dough and shape it into a ball and slightly flatten it.4. Place the flatten dough on the greased worktop and roll it into a thin sheet. Prick with fork all over the sheet.5. Trim the sides to form a rectangular sheet, discard the edges and cut into triangles.6. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry till golden and crisp.
