Instant Bajra Uttapam | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Quick and easy recipe of healthy uttapam made with bajra flour. A must try !

INSTANT BAJRA UTTAPPAM

Ingredients

¾ cup pearl millet (bajra) flour
½ cup semolina (suji)
1 cup yogurt
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped green capsicum
1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
2 green chillies, finely chopped
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
6-8 curry leaves
1 teaspoon baking soda
Oil as required

Method

1. Mix together pearl millet flour, semolina and yogurt in a bowl.
2. Add onion, capsicum, ginger, green chillies, salt, mustard seeds and cumin seeds with some water. Add curry leaves and baking soda, mix well and rest for 5 minutes.
3. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter on it, spread into an uttappam and cook till evenly done from both the sides.
4. Serve hot with green coconut chutney.
