Jeffrey Merrihue: https://www.instagram.com/xtremefoodies_/ Hamid Sepidnam: https://www.instagram.com/mr.taster/ Heres all the Italian food we ate in Florence: AllAntico Vinaio, Florence, Italy (https://maps.app.goo.gl/DYuKWMcZYo2a9ih78) - Were starting off this Italian street food tour with what is easily one of the worlds most famous sandwiches from AllAntico Vinaio. Their bread is immaculate, right out of the oven. I tried three different sandwiches, all of which were outstanding:Sandwich 1: Favolosa - Sbriciolona salami, cream of pecorino cheese, artichokes, spicy eggplantsSandwich 2: La Inferno - Roast suckling pig, spicy cream, spicy eggplant, rocket Sandwich 3: La Paradiso - Mortadella, stracciatella cheese, pistachios Tripperia Pollini Lampredotto - You can visit Florence without trying their beloved lampredetto, a sandwich made with the cows 4th stomach (abomasum). Traditionally its just served with salt and pepper, but with some herb oil and chili oil it really bumps up the flavor. Vivoli Gelato - Continuing with this Italian food tour with had a Gran Crema Caff Vivoli (Affogato) - Cream gelato with coffee, at one of the original and historical gelato shops - it was delicious! Tripe sandwich: Da' Vinattieri - Edoardo next brought us into an alley to eat Trippa alla Fiorentina - Florence style tripe sandwich, which is slightly different from the lampredetto we had already eaten earlier. La Sorbettiera - After trying the original and old style gelato affogato, we then needed to try a modern gelato spot.Cibro Ristorante, Florence, Italy (https://maps.app.goo.gl/riMyoyB2x3RbrS5EA) - Finally, along with all the street food, we decided to sit down for a massive higher end dinner to highlight some of the true and nearly forgotten Italian dishes of Florence. We tried the massive Antipasto, Collo di pollo ripieno - stuffed chicken neck, Tagliolini cacio e burro - pasta with cheese and butter, Roastbeef del Cibro Caff - roast beef with butter sauce, and finally Cibro - chicken and rooster organs in egg and lemon sauce! What a meal, highly recommended and thank you again for Edoardo for arranging it.Thank you again to Edoardo Celadon (@MostOfItaly https://www.mostofitaly.com/) for arranging this incredible day of food in Florence!
