This cake is prepared with jaggery and whole wheat flour, especially for the health-conscious people. Now, no more missing the good things in life.JAGGERY CAKEIngredients¾ cup jaggery powder½ cup yogurt¼ cup oil1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)½ tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powderA pinch of cinnamon powder¼ cup milkCoffee of your choice to serveMethod1. Preheat the oven at 180ºC.2. Take yogurt in a bowl. Add oil and jaggery powder in 3-4 batches and beat with an electric beater till the jaggery melts and the mixture turns light. 3. Sift whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon powder directly into the bowl and gently fold the mixture. 4. Add milk and mix till well combined. 5. Transfer the batter into a 7 x 2 x 3 silicon loaf mould and tap it a few times. Place it on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. 6. Bring the tray out of the oven and allow the cake to cool slightly. De-mould and allow to cool completely.7. Slice and serve with coffee of your choice.
