These freshly baked pies have an interesting jalapeno mixture loaded with cheese. Take a bite on it. !JALAPENO PIES Ingredients200 grams puff pastry sheet 2-3 fresh jalapenos, chopped 1 cup grated cheddar cheese½ teaspoon red chilli flakesCrushed black peppercorns to tasteSalt to taste1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves Bocconcini slices as required Melted butter for brushing Method1. Preheat oven to 180̊ C. 2. Mix together cheese, jalapenos, chilli flakes, crushed peppercorns, salt and coriander leaves in a bowl. 3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet. Use a flower shaped cookie cutter and cut out shapes from it. 4. Place a bocconcini slice on top of some of the flowers and top with a spoonful of the prepared cheese mixture in the centre. Apply water on the remaining flowers, place on top and seal the edges by pressing with a fork. 5. Place the pies on a baking tray and brush with some butter.
