Jasmine Iced Tea | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Refreshing chilled iced tea with the flavour of lemon grass.

JASMINE TEA

Ingredients

2 lemons, sliced
Fresh mint leaves as required
Ice cubes as required
4 tea bags
½ cup sugar
10-12 lemongrass leaf pieces
Lemongrass stems for garnishing

Method

1. Heat sufficient water in a non-stick pan. Add sugar and lemongrass leaf pieces and bring to a boil.
2. Add tea bags and let them brew. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
3. Put in a jar, lots of ice cubes, 12-16 mint leaves, lemon slices and strain the prepared tea mixture in it. Stir well.
4. Put some ice cubes into individual serving glasses, pour in the ice tea, garnish with lemongrass stems and serve immediately.
