This is an interesting quick fasting recipe made from raw bananas, perfect for this navratri season.

Jeera kela

Serving - 4 pax
Preparation time - 10 mins
Cooking Time – 10 mins

Ingredients quantity
Raw banana 6-8 nos
Water as required 
Salt 2 tsp + to taste 
Turmeric powder 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp 
Oil 2 tbsp
Asafoetida a pinch
Cumin seed 1 1/2 tsp
Green chilli chopped 2-3 nos
Corriander chopped 2 tbsp 
 Method : 
1. Take raw bananas and cut its head and tails. 
2. Heat a pressure cooker, add water, raw banana, Turmeric powder, salt. 
3. Allow it to cook for 5 whistle. 
4. Once it's done, remove it and peel it and cut it into chunks. 
5. Heat a pan, add oil, cumin seed, Asafoetida saute it until splutter. 
6. Now add green chilli, boiled bananas saute it for 3-4 mins. 
7. Now add Turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves and toss it well for 2 mins. 
8. Transfer it to serving plate. 
9. Serve hot.
