JEERA RICEIngredients2 tsps cumin seeds (jeera)1½ cups basmati rice, soaked and drained2 tbsps ghee1 star anise1 inch cinnamon stick7-8 black peppercorns3-4 green cardamoms3-4 clovesSalt to taste2 tsps chopped fresh coriander leavesMethod1. Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add star anise, cinnamon stick, black peppercorns, green cardamom, cloves and cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant.2. Add rice and sauté well. Add 3 cups water and salt and mix well. Cook on low heat and let it come to a boil. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.3. Add chopped coriander and take the pan off the heat.
