Mirchi Pakoda Street Food, Jodhpuri Mirchi Vada Recipe, Mirch Pakoda, Mirchi Bajji Street Food, Stuffed Chilli fritters, #MirchPakoda #MirchiVada #JodhpuriMirchiVadaIngredients for Jodhpuri Mirchi Vada Green chillies (larger sized) -6 (150 grams)Potato (boiled) - 6 (500 grams)Chickpea flour- 1.5 cups (150 grams)Green chilli (finely chopped) - 3 to 4 Ginger baton (grated) - 1 inchRed chilli powder - ½ tsp Asafoetida - ½ pinch Green coriander (finely chopped) - 3 to 4 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - ½ tsp Carom seeds - ½ tsp Dry mango powder - ½ tsp Salt - 1.5 tsp Baking soda - ⅛ tsp Garam Masala - ½ tsp Oil - for frying How to make Jodhpuri Mirchi Vada For the batter 1- Take 1.5 cups of chickpea flour in a bowl and some water to it for dissolving its lumps. 2- Add some more water to it for making its smooth texture batter. The batter should have pouring consistency. 3- Add a ½ teaspoon of salt, turmeric powder, carom seeds after crushing them, red chilli powder to it. 4- Add a ⅛ teaspoon of baking soda to it and keep the batter aside to ferment for a while. For the stuffing1- Preheat a pan, add a tablespoon of oil in it. 2- Add a ½ pinch of asafoetida to it. 3- Add a ½ teaspoon of cumin seeds to it and roast for a while. 4- Add 6 boiled potatoes to it after breaking them. 5- Turn the flame to low and add 2 finely chopped green chillies to it. 6- Add a ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of coriander powder, a ½ teaspoon of mango powder to it. 7- Turn the flame to medium, cook while mashing and stirring the ingredients. 8- Add a ½ teaspoon of Garam Masala, 2 to 3 tablespoons of finely chopped green coriander to it. 9- Pour the stuffing in a plate and let it cook down. For the Vada1- Take 6 thicker sized green chillies, chop these and cut it slightly from a side. 2- Remove its seeds and hollow them. 3- Preheat oil in a wok for frying the Vadas. 4- Insert some stuffing inside the chilli and coat it with the stuffing well. 5- Assemble all the chillies likewise. 6- After assembling all the chillies, lift a chilli and coat it carefully with the batter. 7- Lift the Vada holding its stalk and add it in the wok for frying. 8- Rightly heated oil and medium flame is required to fry the Mirchi Vada. 9- While frying the Vada, do not stir it in the beginning but, bounce some oil over it using the ladle. 10- After a while, stir and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes until it becomes golden brown. 11- After frying the Vada, drain it out and place it on a plate. 12- Fry the rest of Mirchi Vada likewise. Serving1- Serve it along with tomato or green coriander dip.
