Raw mangoes add a piquant touch to the popular kadhiKACHCHE AAM KI KADHIIngredients2 raw mangoes, peeled and cut into large pieces1 tbsp oil1 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi dana)1 tsp mustard seeds2-3 spring onions with greens 2-3 dried red chillies 10-12 curry leaves ½ cup gram flour (besan)½ tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste1 tsp red chilli powder 2 tbsps grated jaggeryMethod1. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds and let them splutter. 2. Roughly chop spring onions with green and add to the pan and mix well. Add dried red chillies and mix well. Add curry leaves and mix well.3. Put half the raw mango pieces in a mixer jar with 2-3 tbsps water, grind to a smooth paste and transfer into a bowl. Add gram flour and whisk well. Add turmeric powder, salt and 1 cup water and whisk well. 4. Add gram flour batter to the pan and mix well. Add salt and 2-3 tbsps water and mix well. Add remaining mango pieces and mix well. Add red chilli powder and mix well. Add jaggery and mix well. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring continuously. Adjust seasoning if required. 5. Serve hot.
