A quick and simple recipe to make delicious Kale Chane ki Sabzi in HindiKALE CHANE KI SABZIIngredients1cup Tata Sampann Kala Chana, soaked overnight and drainedSalt to taste1 large tomato, chopped1 medium onion, chopped1 inch ginger, roughly chopped8-10 garlic cloves1-2 green chillies, chopped2 tbsps oil1 tsp cumin seeds¼ tsp asafoetida2 bay leaves1-2 green cardamoms4-5 cloves½ tsp turmeric powder½ tsp red chilli powder½ tbsp coriander powder1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)Method1. Take Tata Sampann Kala Chana in a bowl, add sufficient water and soak overnight.2. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked chana, salt and sufficient water. Cook for 4 whistles.3. Meanwhile, in a blender jar, add tomato, onion, ginger, garlic, and green chillies. Add little water and blend to a fine paste.4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, bay leaves, green cardamoms, cloves and sauté for a few seconds.5. Add the prepared paste, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.6. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes or till the oil separates, stirring occasionally.7. Add the cooked chanaand mix well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.8. Crush dried fenugreek leaves and add to the pan. Cover and cook for 2 minutes. 9. Garnish with coriander sprig.
