Kanda Papad Chutney Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Jhatpat banane wali chutney chahiye, toh try this fun kanda papad chutney. Serve as a side dish for a refreshing uplift to your regular meal.

KANDA PAPAD CHUTNEY

Ingredients

2 medium onions (kanda), thickly sliced
6 roasted urad dal papads
10-12 garlic cloves
4 green chillies, stemmed and broken
cup roasted peanuts
3 tbsps oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 small tomato, chopped
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves

Method

1. Take garlic in a mortar, add green chillies, roasted peanuts and crush coarsely with the help of a pestle.
2. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds and once they change colour, add onions and saut till light golden.
3. Add the crushed mixture and saut for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato and salt and saut for a minute.
4. Crush papads and add to the pan, add coriander and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve.
