Enjoy a bowl of this delicious Kanda Poha!KANDA POHAIngredients3 medium onions, finely chopped 2 cups thick pressed rice (jada poha) 2 tbsps oil1 tsp mustard seeds¼ tsp asafoetida2-3 green chillies, slit6-8 curry leaves1 large onion, sliced½ tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste2 tbsps roasted peanuts, crushed1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leavesCoriander sprig for garnishLemon wedge to serve Method1. Wash pressed rice thoroughly with water. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida, green chillies, curry leaves and sauté well. 3. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Add turmeric powder and mix well.4. Add pressed rice, salt, roasted peanuts, chopped coriander and mix till well combined. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Take the pan off the heat.5. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot with lemon wedge.
