Delicious cutlets from the beautiful lands of Assam.KASKAL CUTLETIngredients1 green raw banana boiled, peeled and mashed1 medium potato, boiled, peeled and mashed1 tsp finely chopped ginger1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp cumin powderSalt to taste½ tsp chaat masala1 tsp chopped green chilli1 medium onion, chopped + for garnish½ tsp red chilli (jalokia) powder1½ tbsps breadcrumbs1 tbsp oilTomato ketchup to serveMethod1. Add mashed green banana, potato, ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, chaat masala, chilli, onion, red chilli powder and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Mix well. Shape into medium sized round tikkis and set aside. Prepare other tikkis following same procedure.2. Heat refined oil in a non-stick pan, add the tikkis and shallow fry on medium heat till golden brown on both the sides. Remove and drain on an absorbent paper.3. Transfer prepared cutlets in a serving platter.4.
