Delicious drumsticks made with the flavourful Kasundi making the perfect party appetizer. KASUNDI TANGDI KEBABIngredients4-5 chicken drumsticksSalt to taste½ tsp turmeric powder1 lemon, cut into half½ cup hung yogurt2 tbsps kasundi mustard paste1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste2 tbsps mustard oil½ tsp dried fenugreek leaves powder50 grams butter, cut into small cubesMelted butter for bastingGreen chutney to serveSalad to serveLemon wedges to serveMethod1. Preheat the oven at 200˚C. 2. Make incisions in the chicken drumsticks and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle salt, add turmeric powder and squeeze the juice of ½ lemon and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.3. In another bowl, add hung yogurt, kasundi mustard paste, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil, dried fenugreek leaves powder, and mix well. 4. Add salt and squeeze the juice of the remaining lemon, mix till well combined. Add the chicken drumsticks and coat well in the prepared mixture. Set aside 1-2 hours.5. Grease a baking tray with butter and place the marinated chicken drumsticks on it.6. Place a few cubes of butter on top of each chicken drumstick and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning and basting with butter occasionally.7.
