Kele Mulik Banana Fritters Konkani Recipe Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Classic sweet delight made using rawa, banana and some other basic handful of ingredients, then mashed up together into small spheres fried to golden perfection, taste delicious. Try it out soon.

KELE MULIK

Ingredients

3 ripe yellow bananas, peeled, and broken into 1 inch pieces
cup chopped jaggery
tsp salt
tsp green cardamom powder
tsp nutmeg powder
cup semolina (rawa)
cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
Oil for deep frying

Method

1. Put the bananas into a blender jar, add jaggery, and blend to a fine paste. Transfer this into a bowl. Add salt, green cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, and semolina and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
3. Dip your fingers in water and take small portions of the mixture and gently slide into the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
4. Arrange in a serving bowl and serve.
