Ingredients:
(Serves 4)
- 130 gms Dates (Khajoor)
- 175 ml Water
- 100 gms All Purpose Flour (Maida)
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- Butter
- Baking Soda
- 130 ml Condensed Milk
- 80 gms Butter
- 4 tbsp Powdered Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1/4 cup Dry Fruits (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Milk

Method:
1. Keep a pan to heat, add water, dates (khajoor), baking soda and cook it.
2. When the water is dried, turn off the flame and remove it in a bowl.
3. Take all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and it. Keep this flour mixture aside.
4. Grease the cake tin with butter and sprinkle some flour on it.
5. Take condensed milk in a bowl, add butter, powdered sugar and beat this mixture.
6. Add vanilla essence, dates mixture to it and beat the mixture.
7. Take the flour mixture and add chopped dry fruits into it.
8. Then put this flour mixture into the dates batter and beat it again.
9. Add milk into it and beat till the consistency is proper.
10. Put a large pan to preheat for 5 minutes, put the batter in the cake tin and then put it into the heated pan. Cover the lid and keep it for 35/40 minutes on slow flame.
11. Check the cake after 40 mins to see if it is cooked; once it is done, turn off the flame and let it cool down.
Khajoor Cake is ready to serve!
