These are a traditional delicious quick and easy Gujarati snacks recipe made of chickpea flour seasoned with mustard seeds ,curry leaves and spices. They can be a great accompaniment with tea during breakfast or evening snacks
Ingredients

1 cup chickpea flour
1/2 cup curd
3 cups of water
1 tbsp. grated ginger and green chili paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
4 to 5 curry leaves
2 green chilies
1 red chili
1 tsp asafoetida powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Preparations

Making batter

Strain the flour
whisk the curd
Add 3 cups of water
Add salt and sugar
Add ginger green chili paste
Add asafoetida powder
Add turmeric powder
Strain the batter


Making rolls

Cook the batter 15 to 20 minutes on low flame till it thickens
Drop a spoon of batter on the kitchen surface
If the batter does not stick to the surface the batter is ready
With a spatula coat a greased plate with batter not too thin.
Let it cool
With a knife make vertical cuts
Using your finger make rolls.
Seasoning

Heat 2 tbsp. of oil.
Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds
Add curry leaves
Red chili
Pour on the rolls and toss
Garnish with coriander leaves
