Khatta ingredients:
2-3 tbsp. Oil
1 medium Onion
3/4 cup Tamarind pulp
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 cup Roasted & grounded sesame seeds
Salt to taste
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tbsp Vinegar
1 tsp Red chili flakes
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Chaat masala
1 tbsp. Coriander leaves
1 tbsp. mint leaves
2 cups water
Tarka Ingredients:
2 tbsp. Oil
1 tsp Cumin
1-2 tsp Green Chilies
4-5 Curry leaves
Khichri ingredients:
1/2 cup Lentils
1 cup Rice
4 cups water
2 tbsp. Oil
1 tbsp. Whole spices
1 large onion
1 tbsp. Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. Coriander leaves
1 tbsp. Mint leaves
3-4 Green Chilies
1 tsp Cumin

Khatta ingredients:

4-5 Curry leaves
Khichri ingredients:
1/2 cup Lentils
1 cup Rice
4 cups water
2 tbsp. Oil
1 tbsp. Whole spices
1 large onion
1 tbsp. Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. Coriander leaves
1 tbsp. Mint leaves
3-4 Green Chilies
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Red Chili powder
Directions:
In a bowl add rice and lentils. Then add water and soak for 1-2 hours.
Heat oil in a pan, add onion and saut for 2 minutes. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Add tamarind pulp, roasted and grounded sesame seeds and mix it well.
Add salt, chaat masala ,ix well. Add water, bring it to boil. Now add red chili flakes, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander and mint leaves. Cover the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
Turn off the flame and add vinegar.
Tarka Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin, green chilies, curry leaves. Cook for a minute and pour it over the prepared Khatta.
Khirchi Preparation:
In a pan heat oil, add whole spices and cumin, saut for a minute.
Add onion and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add Ginger Garlic Paste, Green Chilies, Salt, Haldi, Red Chili Powder & mix it well.
Add Water Cup & cook for a minute.
Add Soaked Rice & lentil & mix it well.
Add Water, Coriander & Mint leaves & bring it to boil.
Cover the lid & Cook on Medium heat until serve hot.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 30-35 minute
Serving: 4-5
