Kofta Curry is one of very traditional Pakistani curry recipe. Kofta are meatballs made from chicken, beef, mutton or lamb are prepared with onions, spices and cream sauce served with roti or boiled rice at any mealtime.
Ingredients: for Kofta / Meatballs كفتة الكاري / ਕੋਫਟਾ ਕਰੀ)-
Salt (as per taste)
Onion 1
Mint leaves
Red chili 1/2 tsp
Chicken minced 400 g
Garam-masala 1/ tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Roasted chickpeas 3 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chili 1
For Gravy:
Salt
Onion 3
Oil 1/2 cup
Tomato 2 pcs
Garam Masala
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Red crushed chili
Green coriander leaves
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Recipe:
Take a large bowl, add salt, onion, mint leaves, red chili, coriander powder, turmeric powder, roasted chickpeas, ginger garlic paste, green chili in minced chicken & mix it.
Make meatballs with your hands in equal quantities.
Heat 1 Liter water in a cooking pot, cook your meatballs.
Heat oil in other pans, roast cumin seeds for few minutes & then add salt, onion, tomato, garam-masala, yogurt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red crushed chili, and garlic paste to cook till it turns into gravy.
Put cooked meatballs in gravy and steam cook for 15 mins and serve.
