In separate bowls, soak split chickpeas and white lentils overnight.2. In a blender add soaked lentils and water. Blend them well to form paste.3. Transfer the lentil paste in a bowl and add red chili powder, salt, baking soda, cumin powder and mix it well.4. In a pan heat oil and add the prepared mixture with the help of spoon. Fry on low medium flame until light golden in color. Take off flame and set aside.Directions for Green Chutney Preparation:5. In a blender add coriander, green chilies, mint leaves, vinegar, water, salt and blend well. Green chutney is ready.Directions for Tamarind Sauce:6.
