KURMURA CHIWDAIngredients3 cups puffed rice (kurmura)3 tbsps oil½ cup raw peanuts with skin½ tsp mustard seeds2 green chillies2 sprigs of curry leaves½ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste½ tsp powdered sugar¼ cup roasted chana dal (daalia)Method1. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan and add peanuts. Sauté till golden brown on medium heat.2. Add mustard seeds, break and add green chillies, curry leaves and continue to sauté on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Add powdered sugar, roasted chana dal and kurmura. Mix well. Cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes. Allow it to cool down.3. Transfer chiwda in an airtight glass jar.4.
