Chicken pieces marinated with spices and air fried to perfection. Must try !

LAHORI CHICKEN TIKKA

Ingredients

750 grams whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces on bone
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon green chilli paste
1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
1 tablespoon chicken tikka masala
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
½ teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 egg
Butter for greasing and brushing

Method

1. Make incisions on chicken pieces and put in a bowl. Add lemon juice, salt, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste, carom seeds, chicken tikka masala, garam masala powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, yogurt and egg, mix well and set aside to marinate for 1-2 hours.
2. Grease an air fryer with some butter, place the marinated chicken pieces in it and air fry at 200° C for 10-15 minutes.
3. Brush with some butter and serve hot with onion rings, tomato slices, lemon wedges and green chutney.
