Delicious and lip-smacking recipe made with bottle gourd and raw mango

LAUKI AUR KACHI KAIRI KI SUBZI

Ingredients

1 Bottlegourd (lauki), peeled and chopped into cubes
2 medium raw mangoes (keri), finely chopped
3 tbsps oil
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 medium tomatoes, roughly chopped
¼ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
Chopped fresh coriander for garnish

Method

1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till it splutters. Add bottle gourd, raw mangoes, turmeric powder and salt, mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
2. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Cook on medium heat till tomatoes turn pulpy.
3. Transfer prepared subji in a serving bowl.
4. Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander.
