Layered Pan Pasta

Ingredients for White sauce:
Oil 1 tbsp
Butter 2 tbsp
All-purpose flour 1 tbsp
Milk 1 ½ cup
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste

Ingredients for Red Sauce Preparation:
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 1 tsp
Onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
Basil leaves (Chopped) 1 tbsp
Tomato puree 1 cup
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Oregano 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste

Ingredients for Sauteed Veggies:
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic (Chopped) 1 tbsp
Green Capsicum (chopped) 1 cup
Red capsicum (chopped) 1 cup
Carrot (Chopped) 1 cup
Sweet corn 1 cup
Broccoli 1 cup
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Hot sauce 1 tbsp
Dried thyme 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste


Ingredients for Assembling:
Oil 1 tbsp
Spiral pasta (boiled) 4 cups
Prepared White sauce
Prepared veggies
Prepared Red sauce
Cheddar cheese (grated) 2 cups
Basil leaves (chopped) 2 tbsp
Black olives (sliced) 2 tbsp
K&N’s Chicken Tempura 330 g (8-9 or as required)
Oil (for frying) as required

Directions for White Sauce Preparation:
1. In a pan heat oil and butter. Add all-purpose flour and over low flame until fragrant.
2. Now add milk and cook until starts to thicken. Add black pepper, salt, and cook until thick in consistency. Your white sauce is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Red sauce Preparation:
3. In a pan heat oil and add garlic. Cook for a minute. Add onion and cook until translucent.
4. Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add ketchup and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add oregano, chili flakes, salt and cook until desired consistency has reached. Your red sauce is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Sauteed Veggies Preparation:
6. In a pan heat oil and add garlic. Cook for a minute. Add green capsicum, red capsicum, carrot, sweet corn, broccoli and saute for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add soy sauce, hot sauce, salt, dried thyme, black pepper and mix well for 1-2 minutes. your sautéed veggies are ready.
Directions for Assembling:
8. In a pan add oil, and add layer of 2 cups of boiled pasta, white sauce, sautéed veggies, red sauce and cheese.
9. Again layer with remaining boiled pasta, white sauce, sautéed veggies, red sauce, white sauce, cheese. Now cover and cook for 6-7 minutes over low medium flame or until cheese melts.
10. Fry K&N’s Chicken Tempura as per instructions on the pack. Set aside.
11. Take off lid, add prepared K&N’s Chicken Tempura, black olives and basil leaves. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
12. Your Layered Pan pasta with Chicken Tempura is ready.

Cooking time: 30-40 mins
