Leaving the Philippines travel vlog - Foreigner tries lechon and unique street food!

The time for me to say goodbye to the Philippines has arrived. In the summer of 2019, I, a foreigner, spent a wonderful week in the cities of Kalibo and Boracay. In this Philippines travel vlog, I recap my last day on the island. However, I make sure to eat as much as Filipino food as I can before I leave, including lumpia, lechon, and goto served as street food!

In this vlog - I start my day in the new Boracay by checking out a mango shake. I then head to lunch. I checked out the restaurant called Hoy, Panga. I tried their kanin baboy dish , which is pork with rice and green beans. I was told the pork is lechon. The food was OK, though the quality wasn't amazing for the price.

I then go to buy a souvenir at the souvenir market. Watch as I haggle for the price of my new Boracay hat!

Before I left, I had to go to Budget Mart to pick up a few goodies to take back to Korea with me.

Next in this Philippines travel vlog, I take the journey from Boracay to Kalibo International Airport. I booked my journey through Klook app - and the process was hassle-free. I would definitely recommend using that app. See my link above!

Finally, I arrived at the airport. I had a bit of time, so I decided to check out some of the local foods. I started with goto - a rice porridge similiar to congee or juk (Korean). I then had some lumpia, some soup, and a wonderful rice dessert.

Overall - I had an amazing time in the Philippines. I will be back soon! Be sure to follow me on social media to find out when I'll be there next!
