Me and CG eat out at one of our favorite Ethiopian restaurants. Ethiopian food is super flavorful and fun to eat. You eat with your hands (traditionally with your right hand) using injera, a spongy sourdough flatbread. We usually eat with both of our hands, and quite rapidly, 'cause the food is delicious and we're 'Merican. Ethiopian restaurants are often reasonably priced and a terrific deal. The food is served on a communal platter of injera with extra injera on the side. There are no utensils, tearing off pieces of the flatbread, you use the bread to eat. The injera does not have an overwhelming taste (sometimes a little sourdoughy) and will not clash with the tastes of the veggies and meat. Veggies are quite prevalent in Ethiopian dishes --cabbage, carrots, onion, collard greens, peas, lentils, potato, beets, okra, etc.. Meat dishes (usually beef, lamb, or chicken) are often cooked down into thick stews that can be easily eaten using the injera. There are many Ethiopian restaurants in Seattle and we have eaten at more than a dozen; a couple of our favorites in Seattle are Adey Abeba and Saba. If you have an Ethiopian restaurant in your area and you have never been, definitely give it a go; Ethiopian flavors are wonderful and it's a fun dining experience.Connect with this media to catch all of my videos...thanks:MY OTHER YOUTUBE CHANNEL: http://www.youtube.com/user/buckredbuckFACEBOOK http://www.facebook.com/buckredbuckGOOGLE+ http://plus.google.com/u/0/109193261972985167770/postsTWITTER https://twitter.com/buckredbuckPRINT RECIPES AT MY WEBSITE: http://www.myfoodchannel.com/RECIPE PLAYLISTS: http://www.youtube.com/user/FromUnderTheRock"Easy Jam" by Kevin MacLeod is found at this link http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1100245 and licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0.
