A healthy and delicious recipe from Bihar made using roasted gram flour.LITTIIngredients2 cups whole wheat flour (atta), kneaded into a dough with ghee, salt and sufficient waterStuffing½ cup sattu1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 tsp finely chopped ginger 2 green chillies, finely chopped ½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain) ¼ tsp onion seeds (kalonji)Salt to taste1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves2 tsps red chilli pickle masala1 tsp mustard oilGhee to serveMethod 1. To make the stuffing, mix sattu, onion, ginger and green chillies in a bowl. Add carom seeds, onion seeds, salt, coriander leaves, red chilli pickle masala, mustard oil and 2-3 tsp water and mix well. 2. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into balls. Spread each ball in your palm keeping the edges thinner than the centre. Place a little stuffing in the centre of each ball, gather the edges and seal. Roll into balls again. 3. Place the prepared balls in an air fryer and bake at 180º C for 15-20 minutes. 4. Pour hot ghee over prepared litti and serve with chokha.
