Little Millet Set Dosa #MilletKhazana Healthy Dosa Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A simple spongy dosa made using Little Millet, brings along a lot of health benefits. Besides, this savoury South Indian pancake taste absolutely yummy when served with Chutney or Sambar!

LITTLE MILLET SET DOSA

Ingredients

1 cup little millet, washed, soaked for 6-8 hours, and drained
cup split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal), washed, soaked for 6-8 hours, and drained
cup pressed rice (poha), washed
tsp fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
Salt to taste
Oil for greasing
White butter to serve
Coconut chutney to serve
Molagapodi with sesame oil to serve

Method

1. Transfer little millet, split skinless black gram, pressed rice and fenugreek seeds in a grinder jar, add cup water and grind to fine paste.
2. Transfer in a bowl and set aside to ferment for 8-10 hours.
3. Add salt and mix well.
4. Heat a cast iron tawa. Drizzle some oil and wipe well with a kitchen towl.
5. Spread a ladleful of batter, drizzle some oil, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
6. Add white butter and transfer on a serving plate.
7. Serve hot with coconut chutney and molagapodi mixed with sesame oil.
